The Wholesale Team Leader is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the company's wholesale business by leading the wholesale sales team, developing strategic business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and overseeing commercial negotiations. The role focuses on promoting and selling wholesale telecommunications services, achieving sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the company's market expansion objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the wholesale sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Develop and execute wholesale business strategies to increase revenue and market share.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with telecom operators, ISPs, mobile operators, carriers, OTT providers, and large enterprises.
Promote and sell wholesale telecommunications services, including Internet Transit, L2 MPLS, Capacity Transit, Fiber Infrastructure, International Connectivity, and Data Connectivity services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
Lead commercial negotiations, prepare proposals, and support contract discussions and renewals.
Manage strategic customer accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
Handle customer escalations and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
Supervise, mentor, and develop the wholesale sales team, including setting KPIs and monitoring performance.
Conduct regular sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and performance evaluations.
Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, revenue analysis, and management reports.
Ensure accurate maintenance of CRM records, customer documentation, and commercial agreements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Telecommunications, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in telecommunications sales, wholesale sales, carrier relations, or business development.
• Minimum 2–3 years of leadership or team management experience.
• Proven track record in selling wholesale telecommunications services and achieving sales targets. • Strong understanding of telecommunications wholesale products and services.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.
• Experience in commercial negotiations, contract management, and pricing strategies.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
