We are seeking an experienced Senior IP Security & Network Engineer to join our Packet Core Fastlink team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise networking, cybersecurity, and network operations, with a passion for designing, securing, and optimizing mission-critical infrastructure. The role is responsible for managing and securing enterprise network infrastructure, including advanced routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, WAF, and network security solutions, monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, implement security best practices, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a secure, reliable, and high-performing network environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and related technologies.

• Manage and maintain network and security configurations, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.

• Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and security to ensure reliable delivery service.

• Investigate and resolve network and security incidents through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.

• Implement and manage configuration and change management processes for network infrastructure.

• Perform preventive maintenance, firmware upgrades, software updates, and system tuning.

• Monitor network links and optimize infrastructure to maximize performance and availability.

• Implement and enforce network security policies, access controls, and centralized log management.

• Identify security vulnerabilities and implement mitigation measures in accordance with security standards and compliance requirements.

• Configure, manage, and optimize Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions.

• Review and validate network diagrams, configurations, and documentation to ensure operational and security compliance.

• Administer enterprise networking technologies including VLANs, STP/RSTP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, ACLs, VSS, M-LAG, and related technologies.

• Collaborate with NOC, SOC, vendors, and internal teams to resolve incidents and improve service quality.

• Support incident management, escalations, technical operations, and infrastructure improvement projects.

• Provide technical support and guidance while following operational procedures and best practices.

• Align assigned tasks with departmental roadmaps and strategic priorities.

• Continuously develop technical expertise through professional training and industry certifications.

• Manage infrastructure asset inventory, including hardware, software, and licensing.

• Track and ensure timely renewal of maintenance contracts, subscriptions, and software licenses.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience in enterprise network and security engineering.

• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewall / WAF / Loggers administration, VPN technologies, and network security best practices.

• Hands-on experience with Huawei, Cisco, Fortinet, or similar enterprise networking and security solutions.

• Professional certifications such as CCNP, HCIP, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent is highly desirable.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
