The IP Support Engineer is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting IP/MPLS networks to ensure network stability, service availability, and optimal performance. The role works closely with the NOC, technical teams, customers, and upstream providers to resolve incidents and support network services.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot IP/MPLS network incidents and performance issues.

• Investigate and resolve escalated customer and network-related issues.

• Support provisioning of Internet, MPLS L2/L3 VPN, and other IP-based services.

• Monitor network performance using Network Management Systems (NMS).

• Work with upstream carriers and T1 providers to resolve connectivity issues.

• Proactively identify network risks and recommend solutions to improve network resiliency.

• Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams.

• Coordinate with NOC and related teams to ensure timely incident resolution.

• Work on a rotating shift schedule to support 24/7 network operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Computer, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, IPv4/IPv6, routing protocols, MPLS, and BGP.

• Hands-on experience with IP/MPLS networks is preferred.

• CCNA or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Good oral and written communication skills.

• Customer-focused with a strong commitment to quality.

• Ability to work effectively in a shift-based environment.
